[[ἐπιορκέω]] comes directly from [[ὅρκος]] with <b class="b3">ἐπι-</b> like [[ἐπιθυμέω]] from [[θυμός]], [[ἐπιχειρέω]] from [[χείρ]] etc.; [[ἐπιορκέω]] then is prop.
