II A town on the west side of the island of Rhodes, Mel. 2, 7, 4; cf. Cic. N. D. 3, 21, 54.—Hence, Camīrenses, ium, m., the inhabitants of Camirus, Macr. S. 1, 17, 35; 1, 17, 45.
