ἀλλὰ διὰ τῆς ἀγάπης δουλεύετε ἀλλήλοις. ὁ γὰρ πᾶς νόμος ἐν ἑνὶ λόγῳ πεπλήρωται, ἐν τῷ Ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν → but be enslaved to each other through love; for the whole Torah is fulfilled in one statement: You will love your neighbor as yourself (Galatians 5:13f.)

[ῐ], an Ep. perf. with no pres. in use,

   A to be sorrowful, τετίησθον Il.8.447; elsewh. Hom. always uses part., in the phrase τετιημένος, τετιημένη ἦτορ, Il.11.556, Od.4.804, al., cf. Hes.Th. 163.--We also find the Act. pf. part. τετῐηώς (in same sense) mostly in the phrase τετιηότι θυμῷ, with sorrowing heart, Il.11.555, 17.664, 24.283; also ἷζον τετιηότες 9.13; δὴν δ' ἄνεῳ ἦσαν τετιηότες they were long silent from grief, ib.30,695. (Perh. cogn. with Lat. quies.)

[Seite 1096] betrübt od. traurig sein, sich grämen; Hom., der nur τετίησθον, Il. 8, 447, u. häufig das particip. τετιημένος braucht, und zwar gew. mit dem Zusatz ἦτορ, wie Hes. Th. 163. – In derselben Bdtg findet sich auch das part. act. τετιηώς, gew. in der Vrbdg τετιηότι θυμῷ, mit betrübtem Gemüthe, Il. 11, 555. 17, 664. 24, 283; ἷζον τετιηότες 9, 13, u. ἦσαν τετιηότες 9, 30. 695. – Es hängt wohl mit τίνω zusammen, strafen, betrübt machen.
