   A opposed to, adverse, ἐλπόμενοι οὐδέν σφι φανήσεσθαι ἀντίξοον Hdt.7.218, cf. 6.50; τὸ . . τοῖσι Σκύθῃσι ἀ. 4.129; στρατὸν . . ἀ.
