Soph. 216 b ὕβρεις τε καὶ εὐνομίας τῶν ἀνθρώπων καθορᾶν, wie auch H. h. 30, 11 den plur. hat, εὐνομίῃσι πόλιν κάτα κοιρανέουσι. Das Wort νόμος kommt bei Hom. nicht vor, denn Zenodots Lesart Odyss. 1, 3 πολλῶν δ' ἀνθρώπων ἴδεν ἄστεα καὶ νόμον ἔγνω is. Scholl.) ist ohne Zweifel zu verwerfen; das Wort εὐνομίη leitete Aristarch von εὖ νέμεσθαι ab, s.
