A spurge, Euphorbia Peplus, Cratin.325 (lyr.), Ar. Ec.405, Thphr.HP9.8.2, PHolm.5.24, 25.1: heterocl. pl. τιθύμαλλα AP9.217 (Muc. Scaev.).--Seven kinds are enumerated by Dsc.4.164; τ. ἄρρην, = χαρακίας, l.c., cf. Thphr.HP9.11.8; τ. θῆλυς, = μυρσινίτης or μυρτίτης, ib.9.11.9, Dsc.l.c.; used for poisoning water in warfare, Afric.Cest.p.15 V.
