Go to school, v.:Ar. and P. φοιτᾶν, εἰς διδασκάλου φοιτᾶν.

Where did you go to school as a boy? Ar. παῖς ὢν ἐφοίτας ἐς τίνος διδασκάλου; (Eg. 1235).

Attend school with another, v.:Ar. and P. συμφοιτᾶν.

Slave who took boys to school: P. and V. παιδαγωγός, ὁ.
