Win for oneself: P. and V. κτᾶσθαι, φέρεσθαι, κομίζεσθαι, εὑρίσκεσθαι, ἐκφέρεσθαι, Ar. and V. φέρειν (also Plat. but rare P.), εὑρίσκειν, V. ἄρνυσθαι (also Plat. but rare P.), ἀνύτεσθαι.

Obtain: P. and V. κτᾶσθαι, κατακτᾶσθαι, λαμβάνειν, P. περιποιεῖσθαι.

Acquire by labour: V. ἐκπονεῖν, ἐκμοχθεῖν.
