[Seite 351] ίδος, ἡ (ἄρω), ein Werkzeug der Zimmerleute, im plur. unter den τέκτονος ἄρμενα Leon. Tar. 4 (VI, 205); γυρὰς ἀμφιδέτους ἀρίδας Philp. 15 (VI, 103), wohl nach Art der großen Bohrer, wofür auch spricht, daß sie mit einem Riemen gezogen werden, der selbst auch ἀρίς heißt, Hippocr.; vgl. Call. com. Poll. 7, 113.
