Ληναιών: -ῶνος, ὁ, ἀρχαῖον Ἰων. ὄνομα τοῦ ἑβδόμου Ἀττ. μηνὸς Γαμηλιῶνος, καθ’ ὃν τὰ ἐν Ἀθήναις Λήναια ἑωρτάζοντο (ἴδε ἐν λέξ. Διονύσια), ἀντιστοιχῶν περίπου πρὸς τὸ τελευταῖον μέρος τοῦ Ἰανουαρίου καὶ τὸ πρῶτον τοῦ Φεβρουαρίου (κατὰ τὸ Γρηγοριανὸν ἡμερολόγιον), Ἡσ. Ἔργ. κ. Ἡμ. 502, ἔνθα σημειοῦται ὡς ὁ ψυχρότατος μήν. Παρὰ τοῖς ἐν Ἀσίᾳ Ἕλλησιν ἦτο ὁ πέμπτος μὴν τοῦ ἔτους.
