(only in Il.) always in Ep. part., εἴ τινά που δητων ἕλοι ἐσχατόωντα straying about the edge of the camp, Il.10.206 ; Ἀνθηδών, Μύρσινος ἐσχατόωσα, lying on the border, 2.508, 616 ; ἕσπερος ἐ. the extreme west, Call.Del.174, cf.
