ἥγε, ὅγε, (ὅς, γε)

   A who or which, with emphasis, τό γε μάλιστα ἐν τιμῇ ἄγονται Hdt.2.83, cf. 111, etc. ; τῇ γέ μοι φαίνεται εἶναι ἀληθές Id.7.139.    II mostly, like Lat. qui quidem or quippe qui, οἵ γε . . ὑπῆρξαν ἄδικα ποιεῦντες since it was they who . ., ib.8.β' (cf. ὅς B. 1.1); ἀνδρῶν [σὲ] πρῶτον . . κρίνοντες... ὅς γ' ἐξέλυσας since it was thou who . ., S.OT35, cf. 342,853, OC427, etc.—Never in Hom.
