   A accomplishment, ἄ. δ' οὐκ ἔσσεται αὐτῶν Il.2.347; οὐκ ἄνυσίν τινα δήομεν we find no end, accomplish nothing, Od.4.544; χρήμασιν ὧν ἄ. γίνεται οὐδεμία Thgn.462; οὐδ' ἄνυσις there is no respite, Theoc.25.93.—Poet. and late Prose, as Plu.2.77b.
