   A skate or ray, Pl.Com.137, Arist.HA566a32; another name for the ῥίνη acc. to Ath.7.312b: but distd. from the ῥίνη by Archestr.Fr.46.    II = ὁ ὁμαλὸς τόπος, Suid. Cf. λεώβατος.
