   A presents made by the bridegroom on seeing the bride without the veil, = ἀνακαλυπτήρια, θεώρητρα, Poll.2.59,3.36, Hsch.    2 generally, presents upon seeing or for the sight of a person, παιδὸς ὀ. E.Ion1127, cf. Call. Dian.74 ; προσβάλλων ἀκοαῖς ὀ. θυμοῦ Aspasia ap.Ath.5.219d.
