   A handle of a shield, B.Fr.3.6, S.Aj.576, E.Ph.1127, etc.; prob. ring or loop, inside the shield, which could be taken out at pleasure, ἔχουσι πόρπακας [αἱ ἀσπίδες], i.e. they are ready for use, Ar.Eq.858, cf. 849, and Sch. ad loc.    II part of the headgear of a horse, E.Rh.385 (anap.).    III surgical fibula, Hippiatr.24 (pl.).
