[[un-skawai]] (for <b class="b2">*us-skawai</b>?) [[sijaima]] = <b class="b3">νήφωμεν</b>; in any case one must connect the Germ. iterative OS [[skauwōn]], OHG [[scouwōn]] [[schauen]]. We thus get a side-form with <b class="b3">σ-</b> of the Greek iterative <b class="b3">κοέω</b> [[note]], [[understand]], s. v.; cf. also <b class="b3">ἀνακῶς</b>.
