Project identity

This project is a conversion into mediawiki format of Liddell, Scott, Jones' A Greek–English Lexicon, which is more commonly known as LSJ. The data have been provided by the Perseus Project with a Creative Commons Sharealike / Non-Commercial / Attribution license.

Features

A number of features has been implemented to enhance this resource; for example diacritics-insensitive live search (based on Lucene, random ancient Greek quotes with English translations, semantically arranged data (like the Indexes of various transliterations and forms). It was a long and arduous trip, but we hope you will agree with us that it was worth the effort.

Search

You can search using polytonic Greek, monotonic Greek, atonic Greek or Latin characters. You will get live search results no matter which option you choose.
