Ion. for ἅτινα, neut. pl. of ὅστις, Il.10.208, al., Hdt.1.47, al.; Att. ἅττα Pl.Com.49, etc.    II ἄσσα, Ion. for τινά, Att. ἄττα, something, some, Hom. only once, ὁπποῖ' ἄσσα what sort, Od.19.218; πόσ' ἄττα; Ar.Ra.173; δείν' ἄ. ib.925; οἷ' ἄττα βαΰζει Cratin. 6, etc.: with numerals, δύ' ἄττα ὀνόματα, τρία ἄττα γένη, Pl.Sph.255c, Ly.216d: added to a temporal Conj., πηνίκ' ἄττα . . ; Ar.Av.1514, etc. (ἄσσα (ἄττα) arises from false division of groups like ὁποῖά σσα where σσα = τι-α, neut. pl. of τις, cf. Megarian σά.)
