   A one who arranges or governs, esp. harmost, governor sent out by the Lacedaemonians to the περίοικοι and subject cities, Th.8.5, X.HG2.4.28, etc.; governor of a dependent colony, Id.An.5.5.19.    2 title of officials at Thessalonica, IG11(4).1053 (iii B.C.).    3 = triumvir, App.BC4.7; = praefectus, Luc.Tox.17,32.    4 betrothed husband, Poll.3.35.
