A γέλγεις Thphr.HP7.4.11, CP1.4.5:—head of garlic, and in pl., the cloves which compose it, ἡ γέλγις διαιρεῖται εἰς τὰς γέλγεις Id.HP7.4.12, cf. Hp.Nat.Mul.77; πότιμοι γέλγῑθες AP6.232 (Crin.).
