   A windy, Hom., but only metaph., ανεμώλια βάζειν talk words of wind, Il.4.355, Od.11.464; οι δ' αύτ' ανεμώλιοι are like the winds, i.e. empty boasters, Il.20.123; τί νυ τόξον έχεις ανεμώλιον αύτως; why bear thy bow in vain? 21.474; δίκη α., of a trial, Maiist.38; έπεσεν . . ανεμώλιον αύτως Theoc.25.239; είπε δ' ύδωρ πίνειν, ανεμώλιος the empty fool!
