   A not having eaten, abstaining from food, fasting, Il.19.346, Arist.HA563a23, Call.Cer.6, Euph.57, v.l. in h.Merc.168.    2 c. gen., ἄπαστος ἐδητύος ἠδὲ ποτῆτος without having tasted meat or drink, Od.4.788, cf. 6.250, h.Cer.200: ἐδητύος ἔργον ἄπαστον a meal which feeds not, Opp.H.2.250.    II Pass., not eaten, Ael.NA11.16.
