A make to start from a place:—Pass., start, depart, ναῦφιν Il.2.794, cf. Od.2.375, 4.748, Sapph.Supp.6.7, etc.: c. gen., from a place, οἷον ἆρ' ὁδοῦ τέλος Ἄρλους ἀφωρμήθημεν S.OC1401; δόμων E. Or.844; ἐκ Κεγχρειῶν Th.8.10; to a place, δεῦρο Ar.Nu.607. II intr. in Act. in same sense as Pass., ἀ. χθονός E.Rh.98; ἐκ δόμων Id.Tr.939, cf.
