   A without truce, implacably, πολεμεῖν Ph.2.195; φονᾶν ib.423.    II of peace, without formal treaty, ἀσυλεὶ καὶ ἀ. SIG168.9 (Erythrae, iv B.C.), IPE2.1 (Panticapaeum, iv B.C.), etc.
