   A cut as a remedy for an evil:—Subst. ἀντίτομον, τό, remedy, antidote, h.Cer.229, Hsch.; ἀντίτομα ὀδυνᾶν antidotes for pains, Pi.P.4.221.    II having opposite curvatures for cutting, Paul.Aeg.6.30.
