   A one who marks the boundaries : in pl., officers appointed to settle boundaries, public or private, IG12.94.7, Hyp.Eux.16, Tab.Heracl.1.2, al., Plu.TG21 ; the chief being called γαμέτρας (γεωμέτρης), Tab.Heracl.1.187, cf. Poll.9.9, AB287.    II one who determines, δικαίων D.15.29, cf. Hermog. Stat.8, Plot.5.1.5.
