   A παρώθησα Lyd.Mag.2.28 :—push sideways, ἐς χώρην Hp.Art.18 ; push aside or away, reject, Ἔρωτα S.Tr.358 ; δοῦλον λέχος E.Andr.30, cf. El.1037 :—Pass., to be set aside, slighted, X. HG2.3.14 ; παρεῶσθαι καὶ ἐν οὐδενὸς εἶναι μέρει D.2.18, cf. 23.105 (in both places with v.l. παρεωρᾶσθαι).    2 supersede, Gal.14.2.    3 surpass, Lyd. l.c.    II Med., push away from oneself, reject, ξένους E.Heracl.237 ; ἄνδρα Aeschin.1.103, cf.
