"under the breaking of B.", i. e. <b class="b2">protected against B.</b>; the latter with reduplication <b class="b3">*Ϝι-Ϝωγ-η</b> , <b class="b2">*u̯i-u̯oh₂g-</b>; so <b class="b3">ἐπιωγή</b> prob. from <b class="b3">*ἐπιϜιϜωγή</b>.
