Thus(?) Swed. <b class="b2">ögon-sten</b> <b class="b2">eye-ball</b>, prop. "eyestone". - Wrong EM 572, 42 (to <b class="b3">λοξόομαι</b>, <b class="b3">λοξός</b>), Zupitza German. Gutt. 215 (to OE [[lōcian]] [[look]] etc.; WP. 2, 381), Bechtel Dial. 2, 284 (to <b class="b3">λέγνον</b> [[border]]; s. v.). Further s. <b class="b3">λέγω</b>; cf. also on <b class="b3">λωγάλιοι</b>. - Fur. 363 etc. connects <b class="b3">λύγδος</b> [[white marble]]: needs further adstruction.
