Lat. [[decet]] [[it is fitting]] with [[decus]] n. (= Skt. <b class="b2">*dáśas-</b> in [[daśas-yáti]] [[honour]], MIr. [[dech]] [[the best]]; cf. also [[δεξιός]]), [[dignus]], [[doceō]] etc.; [[δέκομαι]] therefore prop. [[consider something as fitting]], [[gern aufnehmen]]? - From Armenian here primary [[tesanem]], aor. [[tesi]] [[see]]?; cf. [[δοκεύω]]. - Uncertain Arm. [[ǝncay]] [[gift]], Toch.
