   A feeble, powerless, ἠΰτε παιδὸς ἀφαυροῦ Il.7.235, cf. Nic.Th.198; dim, Arat.256; almost always Comp. and Sup., σέο πολλὸν ἀφαυρότερος Il.7.457; ἵνα μή οἱ ἀφαυρότερον βέλος εἴη 12.458; οὔ μιν ἀφαυρότατος βάλ' Ἀχαιῶν 15.11, cf.
