D.S. 11.14, AP7.56; nom. and acc. pl. στίχες, στίχας (v. infr.):—row, line, rank or file, esp. of soldiers, τῆς μὲν ἰῆς στιχὸς ἦρχε Μενέσθιος Il.16.173; στιχὸς εἶμι διαμπερές 20.362, cf. Epigr. ap.
