a primitive root (identical with צָלַל through the idea of hovering over (compare צֶ֫לֶם)); to shade, as twilight or an opaque object: begin to be dark, shadowing.
a primitive root (identical with צָלַל through the idea of vibration); to tinkle, i.e. rattle together (as the ears in reddening with shame, or the teeth in chattering with fear): quiver, tingle.
a primitive root; properly, to tumble down, i.e. settle by a waving motion: sink. Compare צָלַל, צָלַל.
