Use P. and V. πλέκειν, συμπλέκειν; see weave. Met., unite: P. and V. συνδεῖν; see unite. Knit the brows: Ar. ὀφρῦς συνάγειν, V. ὄμματα συννεφεῖν, Ar. and P. τὰς ὀφρῦς ἀνασπᾶν. With knitted brows. V. συνωφρυωμένος. Knitting his brows in anger: Ar. δεινὸν ἐπισκύνιον συνάγων (Ran. 823). Well-knit, adj.: P. εὐπαγής.
