   A snore, A.Eu.53, Eup. 267, Ar.Nu.5, al.; of horses, snort, E.Rh.785; of a dolphin asleep, Arist.HA537b3, 566b15:—in Ar.Eq.115 also in Med. ῥέγκεται, but (as Sch. observes) only to balance πέρδεται; but cf. ll. cc. infr.—The form ῥέγχω occurs in Hp.Aph.6.51, Arist. ll. cc., Men.Mon.711, Herod.8.2, LXX Jn.1.5,6, Orph.Fr.148: Med., τῆς πλευρᾶς ῥέγχομαι I am wheezing from my lung, POxy.1414.26 (iii A.D.), cf. AP11.343.
