Met., Disturb: P. and V. ταράσσειν, συνταράσσειν, ἐκπλήσσειν, θράσσειν (Plat. but rare P.), Ar. and V. στροβεῖν; see disturb.

Excite: P. and V. ἐπαίρειν, ἐξαίρειν (Plat.), ἀναπτεροῦν (Plat.).
