   A = ἄνδιχα, two ways, δ. μερμηρίζειν halt between two opinions, Il.1.189; σοὶ δὲ δ. δῶκε endowed thee by halves, 9.37; in tmesi, διὰ δ' ἄνδιχα θυμὸν ἔχουσιν Hes.Op.13; διὰ δ' ἄνδιχα ἔαξα broke it in twain, Theoc.25.256, cf.
