   A back-speaking, recanting, π. ἀοιδά, = παλινῳδία, a song of recantation, reproaching the male sex instead of the female, E.Ion 1096 (lyr.), cf. Med.415 sq.    II = κακόφημος, δύσφημος, λαβροσύναι Tryph.423, cf. Hsch.; π. εὐχαί Ph.2.301; ὄναρ ib.55.
