   A glance, shine through, τῷ σχισμῷ Placit.3.3.3; ἕως οὗ ἡμέρα διαυγάσῃ 2 Ep.Pet.1.19: impers., ἅμα τῷ διαυγάζειν (sc. τὴν ἡμέραν) Plb.3.104.5; to be transparent, Mnesith. ap. Orib.inc.15.11.    II = φωτίζω, Hsch.: and so metaph., διαυγασθείς being enlightened, perceiving the truth, J.AJ5.10.4.    III Astrol., influence by its rays (= ἐπιθεωρέω), PLond.1.130.70 (i A.D.).    IV Pass., to be glazed, of pottery, prob. in BGU1143.15 (i B.C.).
