   A = ὠμηστής, because he had human sacrifices at Chios and Tenedos, Orph.H.30.5, Euelp. ap.Porph.Abst.2.55; ὠ. χοροί dances in his honour, IG14.2138.    2 raw, κρέα Epic. in Arch.Pap.7p.4.    II (ὦμος) passing over the shoulder, νεβρίς, τελαμών, Nonn.D.1.34, 13.308, cf. Hsch.
