P. and V. τὸ εἰκός. In all human probability you are exempt from the likelihood of dying to-morrow: P. σὺ γὰρ ὅσα γε τἀνθρώπεια ἐκτὸς εἶ τοῦ μέλλειν ἀποθνήσκειν αὔριον (Plat., Crito, 46E). In all probability: P. κατὰ τὸ εἰκός, ὡς τὸ εἰκός, ἐκ τοῦ εἰκότος, P. and V. εἰκότως. When in all human probability they may still survive: P. οἷς παρὸν ἀνθρωπείως ἔτι σώζεσθαι (Thuc. 5, 103).
