ὑφήσσων: -ον, γεν. ονος, ὀλίγον τι μικρότερος κατὰ τὸ ἀνάστημα, ἢ κατώτερον βαθμὸν ἔχων, ἡ μὲν ὑφήσσων Ἄτροπος οὔτι πέλειν μεγάλη θεὸς Ἡσ. Ἀσπ. Ἡρακλ. 258, ἔνθα ὁ Τζέτζ. ἐλαχιστοτέρα τὸ ὑφήσσων καὶ ἀποδίδει αὐτὸ εἰς τὴν Λάχεσιν ἐσφαλμένως.
