praesāgītĭo: ōnis, f. praesagio,
I a presentiment, foreboding, the faculty of divining or presaging (class.; cf.: praedictio, divinatio, praesagium, praesensio): inest in animis praesagitio extrinsecus injecta, atque inclusa divinitus, Cic. Div. 1, 31, 66: divina, id. ib. 1, 54, 123: praesagitio dicta, quod praesagire est acute sentire.
