   A participation, οὐσίας μετὰ χρόνου participation of being in time, Pl.Prm.151e; χρόνου in time, ib.141d; αἱ μ. τῶν ἀρχῶν Arist.Pol.1278a23.    II in Platonic philosophy, participation in the ideas, ἡ μ. τοῖς ἄλλοις . . τῶν εἰδῶν Pl.Prm.132d, cf. Arist.Metaph.987b10; ταὐτοῦ in the same, Pl.Sph.256b.    III in Logic, κατὰ μέθεξιν as being contained or comprehended, as genus or difference in species, Arist.Top.132b35.
