[[hole]], [[lacuna]] (IE. <b class="b2">*ḱūr-o-</b>), further with other ablaut Arm. [[sor]] [[hole]] (IE. <b class="b2">*ḱou̯er-o-</b> ?); but hardly Lat. [[caverna]] (Etruscan ?; W.-Hofmann s.v.; diff. Specht Ursprung 350). An alternating <b class="b2">l-</b>stem is supposed in <b class="b3">κύλα τὰ ὑποκάτω τῶν βλεφάρων κοιλώματα</b> H.
