Ὡς χαρίεν ἔστ' ἄνθρωπος, ἂν ἄνθρωπος ᾖ → Res est homo peramoena, quum vere est homo → Wie voller Anmut ist ein Mensch, der wirklich Mensch

Menander, Monostichoi, 562

Greek (Liddell-Scott)

κάδυρος: «κάπρος ἔνορχις» Ἡσύχ.

Frisk Etymological English

Grammatical information: m.
Meaning: κάπρος ἄνορχις H.
Origin: PG [a word of Pre-Greek origin]X [probably]
Etymology: - V. Blumenthal Hesychst. 39 connected Hom. κεκαδών, κεκαδήσει rob. Cf. E. Maaß RhM 74, 464, Specht Ursprung 204 n. 1, Perpillou RLGA 112-124. The connection seems improbable to me. The element -υρ- rather suggests a Pre-Greek.
