In reference to wounding, striking, etc.: V. καιρίως. Strike fatally: P. θανασίμως τύπτειν. It (the plague) did not fatally attack the same person twice: P. δὶς τὸν αὐτὸν ὥστε καὶ κτείνειν οὐκ ἐπελάμβανε (Thuc. 2, 51).
