Money: Ar. and P. δανείζειν, κιχράναι. Furnish: P. and V. παρέχειν, πορίζειν. Afford, grant: P. and V. ἐνδιδόναι. Lend ear: P. παρέχειν τὰ ὦτα; see under ear. The god lent readiness to her hands: V. ὁ θεὸς εὐμάρειαν ἐπεδίδου χεροῖν (Eur., Bacch. 1128).
