ἔξαψις σφοδρὰ μετὰ πολλῆς βίας πίπτουσα ἐπὶ γῆς → a violent flare-up falling on the ground with great force, thunder and lightning
from כּוּן; properly, a statue, i.e. idol; but used (by euphemism) for some heathen deity (perhaps corresponding to Priapus or Baal-peor): Chiun.
